Influence of tire rubber waste on the fire behavior of gypsum coatings of construction and structural elements

The addition of inorganic expanded aggregates, such as perlite or vermiculite is well known in gypsum plasters. However, the reuse organic wastes coatings like plasters and renders has been poorly studied. This paper shows effect tire rubber on mechanical properties fire performance waste was added to mixture mass percentages 14.50% (C1) 46.60% (C2). Flexural compressive strength made with visibly reduced their surface hardness (Shore C). In addition, tests produced major damages through entire 2 cm thickness samples containing wastes, it corroborated by X ray diffraction (XRD) Thermogravimetric (TG) analysis. heat transfer due exposure modified considerably chemical composition plasters, since, non-exposed face fire, amount (CaSO4·2H2O) equivalent loss obtained TG water released these 5.4-7.2 lower than that conventional results suggest certain may reduce efficiency protecting underneath construction structural elements against fire.
